Himachal Pradesh Domicile Requirement

Candidates must have knowledge of custom and dialects of Himachal Pradesh. For Group-C posts, candidates must have passed matriculation or 10+2 or Graduation from any school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. For Group-D posts, candidates must have passed middle or matriculation or 10+2 from any school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis .

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST/OBC/PH of HP: 5 years relaxation (if post is reserved for these categories)
  • HP Government Employees: Up to 50 years

Selection Process

  • Screening Test: Objective type test for all posts.
  • Skill Test (Stenographer): Stenography Test (80 W.P.M.) and Typing Test (40 W.P.M. English / 30 W.P.M. Hindi) .
  • Proficiency Test (Driver): Driving proficiency test .
  • Evaluation (Group D): Shortlisting based on 10+2 marks (85 marks) + evaluation of documents (15 marks) .
  • Document Verification: Verification of original certificates.
